Mondai Dewdells

These first few are actually Sunday, I really need to get back to getting some practice drawing from life instead of just making things up, at least to just learn some perspective and find new shapes in peoples faces.

Amy Poehler in Parks and Recreation:

These are from Monday in the sketchbook I made a while back:

This book is weird though, the paper seems thick, but it's really not.

Or I press incredibly hard, but that might have just been that one pencil was terrible.

When I switched to a new one I stopped leaving huge ridges in the pages, those were so nasty.

I don't like most of these, I need to either swap mediums or try to find new things to draw.

I watched the original Cape Fear last night, and drew one quick Robert Mitchum as Max Cady:

It's hard to beleive that he was also the hero in Out of the Past, he seems so utterly despicable in Cape Fear.

I like these two songs a lot:

Blessa - Toro Y Moi

and more so:

EDIT: But wait, there's more:

I meant to take these pictures a couple weeks ago, but never got around to it:

These pictures are still a lot crappier than I'd like to have gotten, but I don't know how to take photographs of sketchbooks and not get shitty lighting but still manage to hold the camera still enough to not use flash.

These are in a 11x14 sketchbook that's too large for my scanner, and I don't feel like putting them together digitally, most aren't worth that sort of effort.

I might scan in this last one though, I kind of like it despite how messy it is. I feel weird trying to color the backgrounds because the only thing I remember from the boyscouts code of traits or whatever was thrift, can't use up my markers all at once :\
