Maybe I should pause this book, but I'm listening to Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions right now so I'm not thinking of what to write here.

I watched the first 4 episodes of Pokemon last night, I don't know if I'm going to watch more, but man that show is not how I remembered it, but Pokemon are such silly creatures.

Some more index cards, need to be inking more and making these.

UPDATE:
KC Green mentioned it was draw a dog tuesday today, so:

check out his HERE
You could also follow us both on twitter:

I also decided I wanted to make this in honor of Jess Fink's birthday.

She draws the awesome(though NSFW) Chester 5000 XYV
You should check out her blog: finkenstein on livejournal
She's also on twitter: @JessFink

I think that's all, I do like making these 4 frame animations though.

NO IDEAS!

I don't have as much stuff as I would like to for this post, but I got a new dog and that's distracting me, plus I'm loosing ideas for drawing in general which means I need to refuel on some learning soon.

This first page is based on the awesome James Kochalka's American Elf strip about not needing any ideas to draw: read it here you should also check out Box Brown's and Niko Anesti's

Now for the paper.

Still struggling with drawing street scenes, it's half my perspective drawing understanding is so basic that everythign lines up too well, and half I don't know what to put on half of the stuff, most of what I see is boring strip mall junk living too far in the suburbs.

And here's two more pages of that comic that may or may not be going anywhere:

UPDATE:
Check this out! You might even be better off to go to youtube and watch it in 720, it's worth it:

Stuff Stuff

Just going and going but not getting much done really.
Let's do the index cards first:

These first few have a couple of Night People references, and that one dude is totally ripped from ideas by Micheal Deforge who is amazing: http://kingtrash.com

Now the regular stuff, the colors in these are completely off, but I don't feel like trying to doing the levels myself, just know these look a bit better in terms of color.

If you don't know, GeoWeasel is awesome and Niko is reposting the episodes on NewGrounds, go there and watch them, http://geoweasel.newgrounds.com/

I like writing 610 as the date, but I think it only seems important because I live in (near) Houston.

Umm, what else:

Everyone has probably heard these, but whatever:

SPEEDO!

Actually, Speedo probably has the right idea, never trust a cat in a hat.

This table is cool:

I guess that's it.

I'm going on two and a half hours sleep so I don't know if I'll accomplish anything else today.

Markers and Swords

I started using my markers a bit more, but on this first page only Night Crawler is actual marker, the rest is digital coloring, that's probably more obvious than I remember.

I finally saw Conan the Barbarian.

I also started playing Dragon Age Origins, so expect more weird uninformed armor.

I watched Lord of the Rings last night and drunkenly drew through the whole thing (wow that movie is long)

I almost forgot these index card doodles, I have around 45 so far, I guess I'll need to get an index card box, I'm not really sure what I want to do with them if I keep it up, I guess I'm not getting that many that quickly, but I don't really need to end up with 6 boxes of index cards I don't look at. Umm.. enough writing I'll figure this out later.

Umm, what else

Oh, this Tezuka short is amazing:

It looks like there are some other ones on youtube which I'll be watching soon.

I guess that's it, I think I'm going to try to get working on a new daily comic, but I'm not sure how I should go about it, I have some ideas though.
