Can't believe it's already here! 50 Posts! Really? I think these numbers are inflating themselves, I seriously can't recall having made that many, I've made maybe 20 since I started again, but before then I had that many really? Okay.
Anyways, more doodles: These aren't exactly in order, that first one is from this afternoon, but a couple of these are from last night. Still need to work on not sitting around reading webcomics all day and start drawing from the time I get up. It would probably work better if I could start getting up before 11 too. I watched my favourite movie this afternoon, Chris Tucker moves around so much I wasn't able to get a good look at his face, need to work on that, now I really want to just watch more movies with him, but I don't know if I should watch that much Rush Hour. Couple Teenage Mutant Flip the Frogs Finally a couple from the lil' dewdull book:
Doodle Dump: These all feel really stiff, need to loosen up the poses. That guy in the Don't Copy that Floppy video makes some hilarious faces. These last few I drew while watching X-Men Origins, probably obviously. Finally, a couple pages from that small doodlebook which I haven't used much recently and two quick oekaki doodles.
Not writing much this time, need to go loosen up poses, need to draw more fun stuff less stiff awkwardness.
Th@s awl fer nao phullks.

Moar doodling: The first few of these next ones are a little older, but I felt like putting them up anyways: Trying to finish up this moleskine so I can start a different sketchbook, not sure if I'll use it at school instead of paper or not though: I would kind of like to have a sketchbook with me in case anyone is like "wut you drawin'?" that way I have more than one or two pages to show them: Also, I've been watching this a whole bunch since it was posted at drawn.ca, there's just so much to like about it:
Also, you should go here and watch all of these Mameshiba videos, this is my favourite though:
So first up, these are kind of older and a few were posted on here earlier, but I got them pasted into the sketchbook and there are at least a couple on each page that haven't been scanned at all so here goes: These were on here just a few days ago, but they have some color now: Then some more from the doodle book, that first spread was supposed to be David Cross and Bob Odenkirk, been watching back episodes of the Daily Show where they make appearances, not familiar enough with either to get a good likeness much less caricature:
EDIT: I want to not have that adult content thing clicked so I'm taking those figure drawings out, they'll show up on the flickr eventually .. and the top drawing, darn, that'll be up eventually to
Today I did nothing because my plans fell through and I didn't try to do anything while I waited for the not so surprising disappointment. Tomorrow I'll work harder, seriously today just disappeared from me.
Lots of school work that I put off for the weekend to catch up on so not much time for drawing, just a few small things drawn at work and during breaks from reading text books and writing history paper.
More digital practice/doodling: These were drawn at work while waiting for tables to show up/leave Plus a few in that little Moleskine:
Yesterday wasn't very productive, but here's some stuff, kind of wonky because I'm still not used to the tablet
Also, more of this silly sketchbook:
I need to do more studying less doodling, but it's too fun!
I've been using an 11x14 sketchbook but my scanner is too small and I don't have the patience to put images together, how do you take a decent picture of a sketchbook with a bottom of the line digital camera?
So instead of trying to learn, work on school stuff, or sleep, I spent last night doodling whilst reading cartoonists blogs and watching videos on youtube.
This is just a quick "book" of scraps from the paper I cut up to use for construction practice stapled together so I could do precisely this with it. I actually have one more drawing in there but I don't like it, maybe if I fix it it can show up with the rest of the pages.
Then some doodles in this awful soft cover moleskine which I bought a year ago but never really liked or used, I'm trying to use it to see if I should just by the large hardback version or if I need the sketchbook version. The thin paper bothers me more in the scans than it does in person. This is actually a couple days older, but was fun to make since I never use my tablet I wanted to try some things I learned to doodle, probably should have spent more time constructing the pose but I was more interested in getting the lines to look okay and coming up with colors to use.
Now, for fun things:
I was about to search for what I wanted to post but this was under recommended, I never watched much of this show, but now I kind of wish I had, the some of the character designs are really cool.
This is awesome,
This is kind of creepy, but the end is totally worth it
I got behind for a couple of days, was a bit under the weather which was keeping me tired all day long.
Anyways here's more practice with intermittent fooling around.
This last one is in the pocket moleskine I carry around, I was going to draw out the other cans that were sitting on the table downstairs, but I decided to do something else and added the little man afterwards.
Cartoonist in Houston, I wash my brushes in sweat it's so hot. I also draw comics http://citriccomics.com/ I used to have a blogger but now all of my stuff is there :D
