More doodles, I'm done with my animation drawing just have to do the backgrounds, hopefully I'll be able to post it soon. I was looking through Bob Flynn's flickr set the other day. This rabbit is inspired directly by Bob Flynn's Easter Bunny Story his is much more frightening, I went for cute, I'm pretty sure Bob's is the real one though. That book only had 10 sheets folded in half no drawing on the back, so 20 "pages" in 2 classes isn't that bad. I think I stole the top part of this last one from a Bob Flynn drawing too, his stuff is just great.
Check out this amazing cover by Dokaka:
Also, I was looking through my list of music favorites on Youtube and found this:
And another great favorite:
I also have 5 favorites for Bela Lugosi is Dead, so yeah..
Once again, Twitter, I'm still trying to figure out what I should use it for, but add me and we'll find out! http://twitter.com/weflewairplanes
Doodles First OH look the two shows I've been watching. This is page 400 in the folder of Sketchbook Scans! Incidentally it's also the last page of yellowed Newsprint I have, I don't know what I'm going to draw on in history class now that this is gone. I do have another pad of newsprint, but it's not horribly old and beautifully acid worn like this stuff was.
Okay so, now for the stolen part, which is just videos other people found, I could say re-blogged, but I do feel like I'm stealing something someone else shared.
This great trailer for Kooky's Return from the dudes who made Machinarium.
Here are the doodles I made the last two weeks. When I'm in history I want to try and draw relevant things, but there are rarely pictures so I can only draw people I kind of know like Teddy I finished this sketchbook, and very appropriately the last page was a trainwreck.
Not much else going on to say anything about, I'm trying to find time but I have so much work and school that I'm using most of the time I have off to just relax and read.
I started getting into regular comic books, so I've been using a lot of time on those since it's so far to drive and they're more expensive so I feel like I have to read them each a few times to get a good value. Right now I'm going through the Blackest Night (I know I'm super late), I bought a couple issues of Daytripper and Joe the Barbarian but I don't have the first issues so they're ordering them for me. I read Kevin Smith's Green Hornet, I'm not sure how I like it yet. I also bought First Wave the 10? issue series but I haven't read that yet, I don't even know what it's about. I'm also probably going to try and read one regular ongoing series (because those are all less than 12 issues)but I'm having a tough time picking between Green Lantern and Green Arrow who apparently just had or is about to have something major happen, but I might just go with the Flash instead since he was apparently just brought back after he died. I'm supplementing this with getting everything I can from the library to catch myself up.
Cartoonist in Houston, I wash my brushes in sweat it's so hot. I also draw comics http://citriccomics.com/ I used to have a blogger but now all of my stuff is there :D
